“You will notice an obvious improvement in the performance of both consoles, especially in load times. Harmonix also anticipates in this new statement that the performance of the game will be better than on PS4 and Xbox One thanks, to a large extent, to the SSD storage memory, which will reduce the loading times and the waits between each song and concert.

Not sure if it's related but I deleted the game and then did it this way, and all is good.Rock Band 4 will improve on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S Initially I didn't open the game before downloading the extra DLC and the game wouldn't start up. Then close the game and hit the options button over RB4, select Manage Game Content and here you can download any DLC that didn't already transfer. Some advice, after transferring your data from your ps4 (it's easy with the ps5 walking you through it), open the game and download the update, make sure it runs properly. Nice that I don't have to login as my bro now on ps5 to play his songs!) (EDIT: as pointed out by some comments, this wasn't an issue on ps4 unless any of the user accounts wasn't "primary" on the ps4, which was the case for me. I have DLC spread across 4 user accounts so that was always a pain. Some exciting things: load times are non-existent, you can use the microphone in the controller to sing, the lights on the controller seem to change color with the music, and you DON'T have to login as multiple user profiles to play the DLC from those user accounts like on ps4. I'm all set on my new PS5 with my 1200 songs.

Hey RB friends, good news about RB4 on PS5.

Instead of posting about it you should submit your request directly to Harmonix. No requesting songs or posting about how much you'd like to see a song/band in RB.Exceptions can be made for announcements regarding other Harmonix projects. Please check here first before asking a quick question!.
